well if you look at it you will see how to take the top portion off easily but the tricky part is on the return that goes into the wheel well.
Basically undo the fender liner and once doing do you will have the rest of the access if I remember correctly. Hope this might help a little.. |

I do I go about taking off the fender liner? Do I need to re-attach it? Where does the AEM CAI filter sit?
Thanks! |

It’s a lot easier to do it if you take off your wheel (pass side). Well first of all you need to take out the air filter box assembly at the top (loosen clamp at the throttle body, and remove 3 bolts at the filter box). Then go underneath your car and you’ll see a plastic bolt holding the lower fender liner... go up and you’ll see another plastic bolt holding the upper portion of it. You don’t have to take it off completely..
The resonator box is held by 2 or maybe 3 bolts.. and yes, you need to reinstall the fender liner. |

Does the filter on the AEM CAI sit below the liner or above it?
Thanks! |

above it... the liner actually covers the filter so you need to reinstall it.

OK, I got it all out except for the "U" shaped part of the intake. It looks like there is just one bolt holding it, and I can get to it but it's a very awkward position. Any tips? Is there just 1 bolt?
Thanks! |
