Newb Questions~
I got the Accord 2002 SE, and its hot off the dealership... New car and all... (Im new to cars & all, so my badz if i make a mistake)
I was thinking of engine swapping the new engine with a h22a, but the thing is I think its pointless/or not cuz its a new engine, nothings wrong with it, 3 yr warranty, etc... But, where I live i think ill be the slowest one out there. Peepz say the accord is mostly for show, but I dont think so! Im against civics, 240's, integras, earlier accords, accord V6's, etc... Or should I just go buying the usual? Intake, exhaust system, rims, tires, carbon fiber, and more (im learning)... Until later on when I have over 150k miles or something then swap? pretty confused after looking @ how much the car weighs, hp, torque, other car's specs... plz need some advice~ |

You would also wanna consider...what's gonna void your warranty since the car is brand new. I don't know much about Accords so that's all I'll say

I say go for some small mods, no big engine swap. I am going for an h22 when this one goes out. No point in changing if its not broke.

First, its illegal to do the H22A swap with an engine older than your car (which it would be). Second, don't waste that new warranty, etc.

Yeah just start out small and worj your way up. If its not the fastest well dont worry about it. We dont buy our accords for speed we buy them for class luxury comfort style etc. Plus the ladies like the big back seat hehe
