well I just got my restricted a few days ago and parents promised me a car as soon as I drive "better" hehe anyways right now they're giving me their blue honda civic, I dont know anything about it (or cars) but wat I do know is that it has 1.6 vtec engine, blue, abs brakes, 96 model because its painted on the side anyways I was thinking about changing some bits here and there to make it look better, Im not really a racer just a kid that just got his license and wanna cruise around town so wat are some stuff I can change that will change the "appearnce" I dont care about the engine and all that (well as off now) so wat are some stuff u guys recommend? Also was browsing the site and say this car: http://www.hondastyle.com/mods/image...5/interior.jpg was wondering wat are those dials near the steering wheel on the left? looks fancy and cool

Hiya and welcome to HS! The main thing that I can think of right now to change the outward appearance is a body kit. I'm pretty sure everyone else can give out some more ideas as well.

howdy & welcome
as for appearance, i'd give it a mild drop and get some rims. maybe get the windows tinted, clear out your lights. i think those are some basic things to make a car look nice...and like lude said body kits are cool too. |

Welcome to HS. As for those gauges, you won't need them until you're fairly modded.

body kit, lower, wheels, (if you have stock exhaust it will look damn stupid)..carbon fiber hood, hood pins, big brake kit, painted calibers, side panels. you should do the basic performance mods also...exhaust, intake, headers....(maybe some powercoated engine parts)
interior: dash kit, air/fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, tach, shift knob, pedals, racing seats, steering wheel..even though most of the interior mods are for performance, they do look hella awesome as well as providing the race car feel. if you do decide to go for some speed later, you will be set. |
