Swap to h22a

Hey y'all Well I know I'm a newbie and all, but I'm gettun hooked and instead of just a turbo I decided to swap know is there a diff between the accord R jdm h22a and the prelude h22a jdm??? I'm gettin a 5spd tranny with it so no auto for me........ Also wut should I do to the engine before I put it in ?? new cam and or gears , forged pistons???? cuz I'm puttin a turbo on it , soon after the swap so I want to make sure the engine can take wut I'm doin to it, i.e. don't want to have to keep the psi down to far and be limited??

The Euro-Spec Type-R Accord puts out 220hp, compared to the JDM H22a which puts out 200 (I believe, figures are just off the top of my head). I don't understand why you don't get a turbo kit though. You'll find more power and more tuning options with a turbo then running all motor. Which engine do you have now (the VTEC or non-VTEC F23?)
DRAG does make a turbo kit for our years, with a 85 - 100hp gain. That puts you well over 220hp that the JDM engines make...

I have the vtec right now ...puts out 150 at the motor, as for the turbo- I plan on getting one ... if i get the accord type r and bolt on an fmax kit i might be able to get 325- 350 according to the specs , vs. 230 with my motor and a turbo..... yes it'll cost more , but why settle????

OK then, now you're talking. I thought that you were doing JUST the motor swap, and it's like "How fast does he expect to be?" Good luck w/ it..
