New Owner
Just wanted to say whats up to everyone. I've heard this is a pretty cool site with lots of good info. I just bought an Eternal Blue Pearl 2002 Civic EX Coupe 5-speed on 2/8/02. I can't wait to dump butt-loads of money into it.

Welcome to the club! Sounds like you got a decent platform to build on.
Just a quick piece of advice, if you add more power, don't neglect the suspension or your car won't handle the power as effectively. |

I appreciate the advice, Incubus. I've always been one that loves the handling aspect nearly as much as I love going fast. I've been looking around and the majority of what I can seem to find so far is AEM products and a few others (I'm not complaining about the AEM). I'm not new to fixing up cars, just Honda's, so I know all the big brands. I know that in the future more will be available since it is a new car, but thats the future, ya know, not now.
Also, does anyone know of any website that has a EVO kit for the new body style (01-02) Civic's? I'm desperately searching, but to no avail. Thanks everyone! |

Well, it was a nice week. I may have totalled my Civic this past Sunday. It was late and I fell asleep at the wheel on the interstate. The car is torn up. As for me, I'm just a bit bruised. It was a nice week of owning a Civic, too bad it couldn't last. I was actually starting to fall in love with the car too. Life sucks right now, except for the fact that I'm alive. Thats all that truly matters.

Yeah, tell me about it. I'm trying to work something out right now. I have a good feeling that everything will come out alright. I mean, insurance will get me a new one. If not, I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do. I'm carless as we speak. |

I'm pleased to announce that I am once again a New Owner of a 2002 Civic EX Coupe. Same color (Eternal Blue Pearl). Ahh, it just makes you feel good to know that insurance is here for a reason. In this whole ordeal, I ended up losing about $200, but kept my life and my car. I wish insurance would stay at the same premium.

WELL CONGRATS !!!!!
Except for the insurance, that sucks I know I totaled twice, But that was a while ago, and now my premium is down, you basicly just have to pay back whatever it cost them to fix your ride, or replace it.
