Car is chugging???
when i shift into 2nd and then put my foot on the gas the car starts to chug and then it does the same in 3rd then eventually it stops. But it is only when i put the pedal to the floor. Anyone know why this is?

Kind of depends on what your RPM"s are sitting at man.
If your RPM's are low..you'll chug....DUHHH!!! haha My buddy's lude had the chugs. He washed his engine and got H20 in his spark plugs. CHeck your plugs. Fuel filter might be a bi clogged.

clean your injectors, i had the same problem and i threw a bottle of stp fuel injector cleaner in the car and it cleared it right up, that or your transmission is starting to go!!

How do your plugs look?
Have you ran any cleaners through the engine? Whats your maintenance like? |

i put the injector cleaner in it and it still does it. I just checked my plugs and the one plug was covered in oil. Not a good thing lol. What could be causing that? It has been sitting for a year or so but i ran it every 3 weeks or so. Any help would be great. I was also told that it chugs because my cat is clogged?

Ok, did you replace the fouled spark plugs? Do that and try again.

so i changed the plugs, wires and distributor cap and still have oil on the one plug. I give up
