what does resenting a ECU thing do and what is a ECU?

reseting the ECU lets your engine make the aditional changes to keep the engine well balanced for optimal performance... ECU stands for Engine Control Unit ... oh and uhh...moved to civic forum

pull the fuse or unhook the negative power cable from the battery and let the car idle for 10-15 mins.
