recovering door panels...5th gen

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience w/ doing Vinyl on there doors? I hav basically painted the panels and have removed the cloth inserts. I've ripped the cloth off so I'm left w/ the plastic piece and I have put white vinly on it but the vinyl doesn;t seem to want to stick and I wanted to get ideas on how to secure the inset back in place on the door panel.

any info and pics for this would be grestly appreciated. Thanks for looking...

hey man.. i just got mine done last week before my show....
but the glue that i used was this spray on stuff... cant remember what it was called.... almost like contact cement but you spray it on... either that or you can use this thing called velcro glue.. paste it on... wait till it gets all mushy then lay the vinyl down... works great and wont let your vinyl come off at all....

pics willl be posted soon

i used the 3M plastic emblem & trim adhesive and it works great for me. I spread it on the cloth and put my vinyl on it and it sticks almost immediately. Give it a try!! Hope it works as good for you as it does for me.
