WIFI Security

any one know of a program that you can get that will tell you whos accessing your wireless network. Some one renamed a friends router to "thanks for free internet" Very Happy so I wanna find out who it is and return fire.

Unless you know everyone around MAC's address you won't find out who.

But what the fuck? Did you friend just leave the default settings in the router? Turn on WEP and MAC address filtering for for fucks sake change the default password.

Hell...if you set up a WiFi network without any kind of security you deserve to get your shit ruined. A program like PeerGuardian might show you who's accessing your comp...but it's hard to say if they're doing it over your IP address. Go kick your friend in the balls for being a moron so he can't reproduce. Remember...computer's aren't supposed to be user friendly. They're meant to be intimidating to weed out the inept from using them. Or at least they should be.

He can check his router DHCP log and see if there are more computer then there should be. If there are you can easily destryoy him by the MAC address.
