Ignition and fuel question for 99 civic, please help?
Ok, i have a 99 ex and everyone tells me that the first thing i'll need to do is to upgrade my ignition and fuel. I want to do this because my future plans include getting a turbo and running a fair amount of boost. I'm not really interested in going as fast as i can for as cheap as i can until my car breaks, i want to have this car for several years so i want to build it smart and strong. So what does ignition and fuel actually include, i mean what would i need to get and if anyone could estimate a price that would be great. also if you really want to help me and give me your opinion on what to do next, whether it be engine work or what before i get the turbo, let me know. ohh yea, after i get the ignition and fuel stuff, i'm going to get an catback exhaust for sure, thanks in advance.

you can wait on the fuel and ignition stuff right now..get the exhaust first...btw, i thought you already had an exhaust from your other post...anyways, after the I/H/E route then plan on the ignition and fuel upgrade...my suggestions: MSD SCI or 6BTM since your going turbo..then the MSD Blaster SS Coil spark plug wires, upgrade the fuel pump too

yea i have the exhaust already i just have not put it on, sorry about the confusion. i thought that it was a waste to get intake and header if your going to get a turbo.

Ummm I think that if you are for sure on gettin a turbo, then I would save your money. I/H/E adds.....well about nothing really, especially for the price tag on all that.

well if your set on getting turbo, as soon as you know you're getting it, sell the header since you won't need it
