The '90-'93 accords used a motor that is called an "f22a", is this related to the f20? Besides the head, what are the differences?

i am not sure where you are trying to go with this, but the s2000 is rear-wheel drive, so the parts will probably not be interchangable if that is what you are trying to ask.

Even though it would be cool to have a rear wheel drive 'cord, I just wanted to know if the blocks were the same or similar enough to get the S motor into the engine bay. Could easily have a connector made to mate it to the fwd tranny.

Easily?

Anyway, it would probably be cheaper to buy the s2k. You're talking about major modifications, etc. to get it to even fit I'm sure.

Are the F20's the same family as the F22a's?

other than both engine codes starting w/ f the tow engines don't have much in common. if you are thinking about swapping, a h22 will be a lot easier and more efficient than doing the amount of modifications that a s2000 motor would bring on.

the f20c has nothing and i repeat NOTHING in common with the other F-series.

No, the trannys don't interchange.
No, the heads don't swap.

so stop thinking about it. the s2000 motor fits and works in- guess what - the s2000
