Sounds like rusty old honda my 2001 Accord that is ….

Hi folks just a quick question my left shock (front driver side) makes crackling sound when it’s cold, even though my car stay in garage…. it's a 2001 HONDA ACCORD VP and I have not made any modifications to suspension system... does anyone else have the same problem... I can't take it to dealer cuz it’s above 36K miles....I wish Honda add 100K warranty to shocks as well since I already got a new tranzzzzz.... The thing is the shock is not bad at all,... just makes this noise when it’s cold very cold…

Crackling?

Like, is that when you're driving? or when you just push down on the strut?

Exclamation when I push down...

I noticed it when I pushed down on driver side, when I sit in the car, only does this when it’s very cold. Such as these days… do I need a new shock? Cuz the shock is still hard, just like the day I 1st bought the car…
