"Oh my!" (Probably NSFW)

"Is that a banana in your pocket? Or are you just happy to see me?"

Actually....Its one of my new rods

(Yes, I crammed a rod in my pants )

For those of you that wanted to see...Yes, I am building this thing in my bedroom.

All those boxes are full of parts. Oil pump, pistons, rods, seals, bolts, nuts, pickup, trays, etc, etc, etc. The crank is in the big box off to the side (its weight surprised me).
You'd be proud to know that all the little things went in ziplock baggies w/ lables!

Yes, its going to get cleaned at the shop when I get the bore/hone for the pistons.

Not that it matters....but this is what the top of my block looks like with nothing in it

Oh and for those that dont know, its a b18b1

Are you still going with a turbo set - up? What compression are your pistons?

Yeah Im doing a turbo build.
I havent bought the pistons yet - Im going with wiseco flat top pistons - 9:1 (according the calc at C-SpeedRacing).

Next week the block is going in for cleaning, cyls to be checked for round, and hone/bore to expand for clearance (rough hone would probably do it (.003")) - If it needs more, then .25 or .5 oversize.

The rest of the parts thread is

But thats just the bottom.
