Ok check this out.
I've had to return 2 GReddy emanage on D16 turbo kits. 1 one of them we had to return twice. On all times, it was a program problem. They had to reflash the base program. Yours is not as bad as the one I've installed. We kept getting a Check Engine Light (CEL) with MAP, misfire, and too rich codes. Your kit also came with RC 310cc injectors which means it make the engine run richer in which the emanage is supposed to already do that anyway. My advice to send that GReddy emanage back for another reflash. If you go to www.turbod16.com forums, you will see that about 95% of people there with GReddy turbo kits have the same problem. It may take a few weeks before you get the emanage back but you can still run your car by using an FMU (boost dependent fuel pressure riser) with your 310 injectors. Your stock ECU can control any set of injectors between 240cc to 370cc but you may encounter idling problems. I dont normally recommend FMU's but it will be better than having a car not running nor no management at all. If you use the FMU, you must also rig a set of check valves on the map sensor. Visit my website for instruction on how to install the FMU and check valves. Goodluck |
