Another Longblock I picked up

So, today I purchased another B18b longblock. This one is a little more complete than the last one. Just thought I would post a few pics of it. As for how much? $300. Yay! That's 2 $300 longblocks in like, 2-3 months! That was a rub in for you, my dear buddy PAT.

Man, I always forget to post the picture. I posted pics of that first b18b awhile back by the way. I guess I'm just gonna sell both of these since I haven't started on them and get a b20 again.

Thanks. I was gonna use one of them for my new motor, but I have this weird thing about saying "I have an lsvtec" because I'm so used to saying "b20vtec" so even though the plan was for 84.5mm, I think I'm gonna sell both long blocks and get a b20 short block. So yah, that's the plan. .

I got this second one from a friend of mine. He was parting his LS out to get ready to gut the car into drag/fiberglass. I took advantage of him.

Nice score MissJDM. I guess that's a decent price over there. I sold at least 5 of those complete B18A/B (without tranny) for $250...... that's making $100 profit . I'm picking up another one today at the boneyard but my buddy wants to keep it for his project.

Okay... I just got back from the boneyard and picked up another B18A long block for $99. It was from an auto with $150xxx. My buddy has it and will probably build another LSVTEC just to increase the value. LSVTEC around here is about $1K and up without tranny depending on which head......

Oh, how it is sweet to know that!

Therma: WHOA. Things go for cheap on that end of the road! LS longblocks here are at least $500 and that's like a "homie hook up." LSVTECs without tranny's would still go for about 2500 depending on the head and how built is it, obviously. Anyhow, good find! :-D

Really... damn. I should start selling LS blocks/motors online then. Between me and a couple of buddies, we have at least 5 that is just laying around without a purpose. Sometimes we see it on the boneyard and not even pick it up unless it's off a newer car.
