91 Accord Lx

Hey guyz,
im intrested in putting ground fx and 17" or 18" rims on my car while maintaining the same total circumference of the stock wheels. Sizes of both rims and tires would be excellent. Do any of you have some info on what i can choose from?

thanx a bunch!

hi.

if let us know what size rims you have right now, and what size tires you have.. We can tell you what size rims and rubber you need.

for your wheel size the rim is 14"diameter (177.8 mm radius) and the height of the tire is 129.5 mm so you will get a total radius of 307.3 mm. i dunno i got messed up with the calculations. i will get back to you when i figure it out.

17 x 7 rims.. For tires, 215/40/17 is the *correct* size.. But you could go with 215/45/17.. Thats whad I did.

For 18's.. Well, I dont think you shoud. But if you do, 18 x 7.5 for the rims.

and 215 or 225 / 35 / 18..

But like I said, 18's arent a good choice for your car.

Damn, I've always liked the stock alloys on my car... I'm probably going to keep them for awhile too.

no, the tires are smaller leaving you with a huge fender gap causing the car to look butt ugly

And it will throw off the speedo, making it read incorrectly.
