tranny question

sometimes my tranny shifts a little rough. itll sorta pull back and jerk into the next gear and i don't like that. other times it'll shift nicely. i'm thinking about replacing the fluid. will this help? my friends dad works at a tranny shop so i can talk to him about it but still input would be appreciated. thanks

yeah my tranny does that a lot but it's shot. changing the fluid will help a lot. to have my tranny work great i have to change the fluid with every engine oil change

Replace the fluid with Honda fluid, and just drain and refill. DO NOT do the trany flush. Honda transmissions are not to be pressurized as in the flushing process. I just did this a couple of weeks ago and it shifts sooo much better. The dealer only charges like $35.

it's really easy to do. all you need is a 3/8" ratchet and the plug is on the pass side of the car. you need to take off the wheel to get to it. i'd say it's a 30min job
