NO clue...I've never ran mine, cuz I'd feel that I'd have to run against someone and I don't like loosing...so I'd have to run like a 5 yr old on a tricycle to win. I'm assuming that your EX has the same hp as mine...so it's not that quick. But I think times can be way different depending on who's driving.

Are you serious? Why the heck is that? What's your recommended gas level? I know on my Chrysler it was 89 and on the Mazda it's 92. I now fill up at 91-94 octane! |

recommended not above 90...so I put 89 in....the girl i work with put 92 in her bf's car and she couldnt figure out why it wouldnt start....she was used to driving a mustang GT that took 92 or better gas.....her bf and I both yelled at her.....

Well, see urs is an SI mines not. I wanted a SI but they are rare in vegas. i just have the vtec motor thats it. and i only put 87 octane in my gas tank. i really dont think putting 89 would make a difference. but im thinking maybe 17's stock in mine but I will try to find out this weekend.

yeah, a car that dosnt require premium wont benifit from using it. premium gas burns hotter and faster. you get better gas milage with low octane if your engine dosnt need premium

16.1 1/4
8s 0-60 but thats for my beast I dont think you'll touch 16s with your civic ex dimtry its all about the compression ratio, 90+ burns differently and thats why your motor sounds like shit when you fill up with the cheap shit. BEcause the pistons aren't firing correctly!!!! |

to add to that, the higher octane rating burns longer and more controlled. low grade such as 87 will burn in one burst, where as a 93 octane will burn more evenly through the compression stroke(my 10th grade chem teacher told me this 3 years ago) the rating is the puratiy of the gas though. its ppt(parts per thousand) i think, it should say on the rating thing at the pump.

ok well, I ran my car last weekend at our Drag Strip and my best time so far was a 17.5 because i was told to shift at certain RPMS and found out I can shift higher plus it was my first time on the track so I will get up there into the 16's....and after mods hopefully 15's and 14's!!!!
Also what is the baby sitters club!!? |

I know what the babysitter's club is about...but I don't know that I'm permitted to disclose that information for fear of death. I'd suggest PMing your favorite person that has it in their sig.
