Speaker replacement.

Yeah i post again. i wanna change my speakers in my car and i want to know what speakers will give me a nice and clean sound ? not a big fan of the base, but a nice deeper one would definitely help. so what brands of speakers are good ? i have mine powered by a pioneer premier deh-740mp. thanks guys. do u think that changing the wires might help ? the honda ones seem to fragile to me.

base is spelled bass..... "speakers so loud they blow womens cloths off"

changing the wires to a 12 or 14 gage wouldnt hurt.... expectualy if your pushing your speakers with an amp.

pioneer speakers are very nice.. i have never had a problem with them. you might want to go with some components in the front... maybe some 6x9 in the back or just get two 5 1/2's in the back... some tweeters in the front... and you would need a sub or two to complete the system...

the componets and tweeters would give you your highs.... defently get some X overs (crossovers) and you would need a sub to give you some bass.

my friend has a WRX.... http://community.webshots.com/album/48171742NrMLjP .... sounds really good and hits pretty hard for only being a 10" sub

no, i won't go with a system in the rear. no subs there. i just need a nice clean sound. and my oem speakers are 6.5 all the way around.

Well, for a simple upgrade I would just go 6.5 in the rear and 6.5 2-ways in the front. I used JBLs and Infinities, both good for the price (the I's sound better than the JBLs, but oh well) - not block-rockin power but nice, clean, undistorted sound. Basic pioneers sound pretty nice too. I don't like Sony or RF (too hollow/bassy); haven't heard the Alpine R.

Stefan, Finals are done.. Sorry I didn’t reply earlier.

Now lets get down to business, even though you have 6.5s in the rear, you should switch to 6x9.. Most speakers come with a template for the cutout.. That'll be a piece of cake for you..

If you don’t want subs, that’s the only way to get ok sounding bass..

For what you want, any Pioneer/Kenwood will do, and you can probably get it for cheap..

If there's any emergency, you know how to reach me..

What size speakers are in the dash of a 98 Accord sedan and do you know if the wire harness includes wires for them even though I have an LX with only 4 speakers?
