S2000 story....
well a friend of mine told me that one of her friends..got a silver S2000...and he just got his G2....so he went to the Honda dealership to pick up his car that his parents bought for him....he sits in the car...and realizes that its a stick (he only knows how to drive auto)...so he gets out of the car...call his parents and his parents are home, so he calls his uncle, his uncle goes to the dealership picks up him up and drives his S2000 back to his house for him......HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE???
G1 - Learner's Permit (must drive with someone that has their G license) G2 - able to drive anywhere in Canada G - able to cross the border |

Well I actually never drove stick before. And I wouldn't want to ruin a brand new car, especially the S2k. So I would have done the same and then learned how to drive it!

I gotta agree with juvenile. If my parents just bought me an S2K and I didn't know how to drive stick. I wouldn't drive it home till I was taught how to drive stick. On the other hand. Who doesn't know how to drive stick? And why did his parent's buy him and S2K?

i also agree with juvenile but wouldn't you do research on a car you like and find out what kind of transmission the car is??...i don't know how to drive stick so i wouldn't wanna mess it up...but i would know that its a manual tranny and i'd learn before i get the car.....
i'm assuming his parents got him the s2000 cuz: 1. rich 2. spoiled 3. got his license..so they must get him a car..and oddly they got him a car thats $50000 CDN 4. did i mention rich & spoiled?? |

I also agree with juvie. I wouldn't want to mess it up espically brand new if I could avoid it... The thing I want to know is why did his parents buy a stick without asking him if he knew how to drive stick first? Doesn't make much sense on their part, but he should have asked them before he went to pick it up too, or I would at least.
