Konig Rims
Does anyone think these rims would go well with my 2001 civic coupe?
They are: 19x8 with offset of 45 and 4x100 bolt pattern. Without the tires, the rims weigh 22lbs each. I was thinking about 16" rims because I want my car to push more power to the wheels and so that I could use my AEM big brakes without using unmatched rims. |

I wouldnt buy them even if they were $100 for all 4 wheels...new.
Tires that size are not going to be cheap - Yokohamas P2s at a whopping $175each. Youd spend double on tires |

bu them and resell them, you could make enough money for some nice wheels.

I will have to differ with you on this, bro... Over the years, CiViC's have gotten bigger 'n' bigger. As a matter of fact, a 2001 model is NOT a CiViC at all, IMHO, e.g. it's not a sub-compact after 2000; it's a compact, so... Earlier models looked okay with 15's and 16's, but not 17's+. Gen 5/6 looked okay with 17's, depending on the model. These 'new' CiViC's may be okay with 19's, since they are so big. A latter-day Si, for instance, would probably look fine with 19's. Anyway, Civic_RedLine, if it was me, I'd 'Google' for 2001 CiViC pics, with 19's, and see what you're getting yourself into...

Here you go (2001 CiViC; wheels: 19-inch Konig Heliums; tires: Toyo Proxes FZ4s):
Not bad, with an appropriate body kit! My point is - This same combination, on an (otherwise) stock Gen 5/6 hatch would, no doubt, look like a 'Circus Car'! Done right, 19's look like they would be okay... BTW, IMHO, these wheels with stock drums in the back, WILL look extremely shitty. Take my word for this. So, if you plan on going this route, make sure you put discs in the back too... So, to wrap this up, if you buy the 19's, and a body kit, and you put disc's on all 4 corners, everything will be fine, but it ain't gonna be cheap. Your call... If you just wanna buy some wheels/tires, and forget the rest, go with 17's...

im gonna stay away from those. 300 for rims + 100 for each tire. Still pretty cheap, but id rather get 16s that would perform better. I dont want to be too slow. Not all looks either.
