craftsman...powdercoating gun?

I saw it this morning in the holiday tool catalogue (I read that several times every thanksgiving). Theyre currently on sale for $160 (reg ~$200)

How well do you think one of these little things work? Doesnt it cost roughly 1/3 the cost of the unit, to have something done?

That's what always turned me off to them...you need a damn oven to set it up right. Like hell I'd throw parts in the same oven I cook food in.

You can get an old over for $50 or less in the paper sometimes.. sometimes free.. just put it in your garage.. Go to this site:

www.eastwoodco.com

They have tons of stuff on powdercoating too like UV lights and whatnot for doing larger jobs. Don't think you are gonna do jobs like chassis though.. suspension parts are as big as you are gonna go.
