crower turbo cams

i am building a setup with a b18. i was looking at the turbo cams that crower makes for the b18 FI setup. it says that to run the cams u need the crower dual valve springs and TI retainers. i got my cylinder head completly rebuild with 5 angle valve grind, port n polish etc....... full race build. do i really need their retainers cuz the ones in my head are brand new??? what will happen if i install these and dont use their retainer kit??

You have to check the specs. Each company has their own version of machining their own valve springs, which is why they also recommend their retainers. This way, they can guarante that the grooves on the retainers are matched with the spring. It's kind of like a "pair". Chances are, what you have may work..... but why risk it? It seems like you've dropped plenty of cash on that head already.
