Setting timming?

Anything special have to be done to set the simming on my 98 EX? or just loosen and set.

Be aware that your ECU is not going to like or really allow you to set your timing. If you adjust, the OBD2 ECUs (In the 96 and up Civics) will set it back to where it is programmed and set for. Yes it is a pain in the ass, but its something you have to deal with when you have one. For mine, I got an OBD1 (from a 92-95 EX) ECU and a jumper and was able to tune until the cows come home. So, good luck and you have the right idea, just make sure you have a timing light!
