Major Audio System Problem...

I own a 2001 Honda Civic EX
Recently I removed the air box but while doing so my friend had removed the battery wiring.
Knowing this is beyond the point, however, this engages the theft protection in the audio system.
I seem to have lost the card that held my 5-digit code, and now am shitless of the code!
In the book it says to call the dealership, but I'd need my systems serial number
Where might this serial number be located, how might I obtain it?
Any input would help, I've got a long drive this weekend!
Thanks!

Try lookin in the glove compartment on the sides, or under the main fuse panel in the engine compartment. Just look for a 5 digit number on a white sticker!!!

I don't think that it's anywhere in the car, defeats the purpose.
Take it to the dealership, they'll get the number off their system but they shouldn't give it to you over the phone.

exactly right. when i bought my accord i had to do this as well cause the idiots who had it before me had messed up the electrical system and engaged the lock. honda dealer wouldn't give me the code over the phone so i had to go in person. which i gladly did... now that stereo is installed in my dad's sailboat! haha. sounds pretty good too!
