KC Auto Show pictures - NEW!! yay.
I just went to the KC auto show recently (like 2 days ago) and there were over 250 OLD muscle cars in beautiful condition. I'm talking gorgeous. However, since I'm not really into muscle cars (and quite a few of you guys aren't either) I took pictures of the like.....4 or 5 imports there. There were a couple of really nice ones, including a Prelude that I didn't get a pic of....*sigh*
But anyway, take a look. - Dzur |

A decent-looking Civic Hatch with a killer audio setup inside. Don't know if the car was meant to go fast, but it sure had a nice audio kit.

Um...I'm not quite sure what was in this engine, but I think it was turbo'd. Also had a nice exhaust setup. What is the purple box in the picture near the windshield?

- OK, ignore the human in the picture, and look at the car. This Civic here had a nice turbo/fan combo, as well as a cold-air intake. Someone told me you couldn't have both!? Is that true? Anyway, a pretty sweet ride. He controlled the engine through a laptop, and had a nice boost gauge cluster installed in the dash.

Yes it's turbo piping.
I've actually seen people use an AEM CAI as their piping. They just modded it to fit to their intercooler in the bumper. With new piping. Easy.

Do you have any more pics of the orange hatch civic. I believe I know who did the work on that car. As a matter of fact, the guy that did the work if its the correct car is a sponsor of mine.

Yeah man, here's the only other pic I have of the Civic Hatch.
Also, thanks for the explanation on the IC piping. Now what the devil is IC piping? Excuse my ignorance. - Dzur |

IC piping is Intercooler piping. The intercooler cools the air going into the engine from your turbo, the cooler the air the better. Runs from your turbo, to the intercooler to the intake manifold and get force fed into the engine.

Actually to tell the truth if its the car that I am pretty sure that it is. That car has some get up and a lot of go. Don't ever judge a book by the cover. FYI |

About the hatch question: They didn't need to because you could see inside it anyway. It had two massive sub's in there...if that helps any. And that pic of the Accel wire engine wasn't the pic of the hatch. Those were two different cars.

Was there a wheel in the hatch at all that you could see. If there was it would have been right in front of the subs.

Sorry, I didn't look too closely. I'm not really into massive sound systems. There might have been, but I don't remember

That is the car that my sponsor built. The man knows what he is doing. The wheel in the car actually pops up and will spin.

I dunno about a turbo but I can sort of make out a Zex nitrous controller on the firewall there. Didn't I see those Civics on Hi Rev Tuners? Lol.
