Look dude....**** you. I'm not going to get into a flaming war, since I hate closing the damn things back at SHO, but let me explain something to you. You're the one with no clue.

I DO race it. When did I say I didn't? I race in GS at all the autoX's (I switch my rims back to stock with my potenza re010s and put my airbox back together, and take out my box and amp for track days). And I drag race (Take out the box and amp for those). There's negligible extra weight other than the box and amp from the stereo, so I'm losing nothing from it. Even with them in there its only like 50 lbs extra...have you ever ridden with someone else in the car (because that's an extra like 150 lbs)?. Well you shouldn't....if you have a type r, race it, if you're not gonna race it sell it to someone that will...moron....

Now, I also like to listen to some music while I'm daily driving, since I'm not rich and the car is also my daily driver. And you can't race on the street, unless you are a moron who likes putting people in danger. And the type r stereo sucks. So I replaced it. I also need security shit, or my car WILL get stolen....and fast.

So I hope you have a clue now and stop making assumptions about people based on nothing. And realize that just because the itr is a fast car doesn't mean you can't have a stereo in there too.

Sorry to everyone else...that just had to come out.

The type-r stereo sucks please it is the best stock stereo i have ever heard and i have been in a lot of cars as far as you go saying you are not rich or you do not have money then how the hell do you own a type-r and why the hell do you have like 2 grand into your stereo as far as the alarm you could have got one from honda for almost nothing when you bought your car. It is nice to know you race but if you came from SHO then your just like the rest of them all you guys want to talk about is stupid shit and fight over it. well i just have one ? for you what kind of body kit are you going to get because my friend has some to sell also he has some clear tail lights just hit me up if you want them...

please give me a good response i will love to hear from you again

Dude go back to school. Do you even have a driver's license?

I'm not going to argue with you because you're not going to listen, you sound extremely immature.

I'll just say this. There's only 900 in my stereo, I installed it myself. What else would I have bought with that $900?

And as for the honda factory alarm why do you think type r's have such a high theft rate? Because that alarm's a piece of shit, and even I could get past the thing. If you can't...you're a complete retard. It shouldn't even be considered an alarm.

And the stock stereo really does suck...badly.

What about you, what did mommy or daddy buy you for your car that you "race"?

Wow....I just read over what I just said, and you succeeded in making me stoop to your level. Just completely talking shit with almost nothing concrete to back it up...I congratulate you. And I'm sorry.

This is the first time I've ever done that...

Well, like I tried to say in the beginning...I've already told you the facts, and unless you're really dumb you can see what I'm saying is true, and I don't think you are dumb, you're just competitive.

BTW this stuff happens very rarely over at SHO...I've only closed one flaming thread ever in my history of moderating 2-3 forums at a time for a year or two now...most likely because you're not over there.

And do you realize you're doing exactly what you're saying SHO is bad for? hahaha....

Anyway I'm doing the exact same thing as you...paying for my car, insurance, parts, apartment, food, tuition, etc, all with my own money, before you start trying to hit me with that.

Well, this is dumb. I have to go to work, so I can keep living. I'll talk to you later

hehe, this one kinda went off-track

I dont own an ITR, but my best friend does...hes not a member here, he posts on those _other_ boards (HT and HA)...since hes not here, ill post for him, lol

info @ www.asog.net/phantom but most of it is outdated as the engine was just rebuilt again. sleeved and bumped compression down a lil more (to 8.7:1 now), head was redone again as well.

made ~470 whp on the previous setup, goal with new rebuild is 550-600 at the wheels.

best et is an 11.80, spinning 24 inch slicks 1/2 way down the track. best trap speed is 130mph, so that should be a clue as to what the car is capable of

new engine is being broken in right now, so itll be up on the dyno in about a month. wish us luck

It's a small world

Rich,

I am happy to see that you found this board. Hopefully your experinece and knowledge will prove to be beneficial to the board.

Just in case you were wondering, it's Andrew, I emailed you awhile ago about grafting NSX calipers and rotors onto the rear of my ITR.

I am very happy to see you here.

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm open to all questions and will try to answer them as best I can. I don't have a chance to read all the message boards much but if anyone has questions, I can be emailed. I've messed around with far more of my car than I ever thought I would've

Did you end up getting the calipers to work?

Calipers

Have not gotten that far yet; I am currently away working and have not had the time to get things sorted out, or even find a set of calipers for that matter. But I will be shortly.

I will keep you apprised of how it goes.
