Daaaaamnn......That sux. You should try to get some parts at the junkyard. It would be a whole lot cheaper than the dealer.

Good luck. I bent my control arm doing that in my old car and bent something else as well. It never lined up straight again.

What were you doing that for?

reliving my accident

ugh sorry about your accident dude. that happened to me this past october. it totally sucked. i loved that accord. the honda dealer said it would cost around 5 Gs to fix everything. i will try to find the list they gave me of what was wrong and post it. but the insurance company said the car was "totaled." so i got about 3100 for it. now i am just waiting for my appeals case because Mass wants to raise my steps.

it looke to me that the crossbone is bent too. that should be around $400. www.evanshondaspecialist.com might be able to help you with that for some low prices.

Cool spazzy! Thanks for posting this... I love it when everyone finds out about my mistakes.
Yea, it was a really good night, coming back from my f'ing birthday party, and got a little bit stupid and did this. I hope that I can fix it on my own (we were going to take it to a shop at first). After I get it back together, I am going to take it up to a friend's body shop and have them check the chassis and frame to make sure it's not bent. If it is, the car is going to be sold :\
In other news, I am finacially ****ed!

That really sucks. I saw a beemer trying to showoff in traffic the other day. He was turning left from a stoplight and gunned it to whip it around. Instead he ended up smacking the curb and messing up his wheel.

Good luck.
