adding nitrous to a 99 civic ex, help.
i don't have any engine mods for my car yet and i was wondering what i would need to get to run a nitrous system on my car, and what shot i could run on my stock engine. also what shoudl i do to my engine to make it stronger so i could run a bigger shot in the future and what company would be the best for my car, thanks all for the help.

Well honestly you would only need the kit. Most of the other stuff is optional. But here's what I'd recommend: 1. ZEX Nitrous Kit - Easy to install, 55-75 shot on stock internals. 2. Nitrous Pressure Gauge - Obvious use. 3. ZEX Purge Kit - A must for consistent runs. 4. A/F Gauge - Monitors the Air to Fuel ratio, determines a lean condition. 5. Spark plugs - 1 step colder for 55 shot, 2 steps colder for 65-75 shot (do NOT get the BOSCH +4 plugs), I recommend NGK V-Powers. And if you have some more money.... 6. MSD 6AL Ignition 7. MSD Blaster 2 or Blaster SS Coil 8. MSD Pro Cap Distributor cap. As far as internals go, look into some forged rods and perhaps some forged pistons as well. JE is a good one for pistons and Crower for rods. Sorry about the delay....
