95 GS-T vs. 98 V-TEC SI
i was cruzin with my girlfriend in her 95 GS-T when we pulled up 2 the light to turn onto the highway. when i look beside me there is this chic driving her boyfriends V-tec.i know because he was beside her(if it was her car she didn't know how to drive) i wasn't gonna do anything because it's an SI i mean come on , no contest. well the light turns green and we turn then she goes for it. the highway was a 3 lane one so i got behind her and into the other lane and 3500 rpm and get the turbo spooled up and blow past her like she was standing still. i let off we she was just a spec in my mirror. at the next light she wouldn't even pull up beside me.. when the light turned green she barely pushed the gas pedal. we just laughed and kept on going while the chic in the v-tec pulled a u turn.
It has come to my attention that they never made a 98 V-Tec Si, they have made 99-00 VTEC Si's - That is all |

Doesn't really sound like she was racing or lack of driving ability.
I doubt it was an Si. Does the GS-T have any mods? Quote:
Did you just say carbon fiber muffler? That's at least 50HP extra. Quote:

Looks like you just increased your ranking on the ignorance ladder. How do you know it was an Si? What mods does the GST have? That last statement you made was ignorant. I'm saying Hondas are the best car out there, but there's no reason they are "inferior".

I'll tell you what. Since Hondas are inferior, I will personally drive my car all the way up there from Texas, just to race your lil girlfriends GS-T. If I win, I get to keep the GS-T, if I lose, you can have my car and I will walk back home. BTW, I'm totally serious about this. Go check out my car on the mainpage and get back to me. Fair warning though, I ran a puny GS-T this Saturday night and took his money, you better have a lot more than he did to think about running. Since I'm in a good mood, I'll give you two and the move........sound good? Turbo car vs. turbo car.

sounds fun but i don't race 4 money or slips, sorry. u can say that i am scared, i don't care what u think. it's all about fun and not getting caught. i'm sure ur car is superior 2 all other cars on the street. but no thanks. keep it real

Thanks for the compliment. I know my car isn't the king of the streets, but you come of as saying all Hondas suck, I'm just giving you the opportunity to show me what you got. I don't race for slips, just money, but I could always sell a GS-T for a built motor and a few other lil goodies. I'm not trying to be cocky, but I know I'll win.

You have it partly right. That car looks a lot like mine for obvious reasons, it is my car The car didn't belong to me then. If you go look where I posted the pics of the car on here, it explains the whole story. I have no idea why Leo went with the LS motor, but I can tell you why I went with it again after the last one blew up. When(and if) you pop the hood, the LS motor seems less threatening than any other one....VTEC is supposed to be god. When someone sees the LS turbo engine, they think less of it than say a B18C1 turbo. It's also a lot cheaper. I picked this engine up from a guy I had never met before for $650. It was out of a 99 LS with 30k on it. The trannies are also better for boosting because of the longer gears allowing for more spool up time. The white rims are Advan RG's. I didn't want those though, even though they are JDM and badass, they were too big(17's)

I'll see if I can translate what he's tying to say.... //Begin translation Do you hate Hondas with the B16 (i.e -Si)? Do you like Hondas with the B18(Integra, or swapped hatches? //End translation I still don't get the point of the question.

I know Honda makes Acura's but some people feel theres a difference, and thats what I'm trying to get at. Like how some people say "I dont like Toyota's, but I like Lexus". |
