Exhaust

What is the best sounding, looking, and best quality exhaust out there? Let the price not be an issue. Sound being most important, and HUGE tip is not my prefrence either. I dont want the ricey or fart can sound either, somethign with a nice tone to it ya know?

Any help would be great, thanks.

welcome to HS!

you're planning to put a 1.8L GSR engine in your accord?

what year/trim accord you drive?

I went with an Remus axel back. And used Brullen pipes all the way to the front.

Simply put, I have yet to hear a 4 cyl that sounds as good as mine.

But it's damn expensive.

A cheaper alternative would be the Greddy SP (cat back)..

haha no way im not putting a gsr engine in my accord. I plan on getting an actual integra gsr soon. And i'm planning out all my mods that I want for it. Got a nice lost going on : )

As for my accord, its just an 89 lx for now, eh, gets me around for the time being.

thanks for your help, can you explain how it sounds maybe?

you guys are probably sick of hearing me preach about them, but... go with a THERMAL R&D classic catback!

sound: extremely low, throaty tone. doesn't sound ricey AT ALL.
looks: www.thermalrd.com/product.htm (thermal uses all stainless, including the welds. the classic systems have dual 3" tips)
price: for my 99 accord, i paid about $500 with tax

I'll vouch for that. Thermal RDs sound awesome. GReddy SPs are quiet, and stay away from Apexi if sound is your #1 concern.

Also, stay away from Tanabe- they have a bottleneck 3" long less than 2.25" in diameter.

So how about a little poll

Greddy SP or Thermal RD

disadvantages and advantages to each?

Best exhuast I have ever had out of many, is the apexi world sport. Not too loud and not too quiet, looks good also, and has a decent power gain.

That's the one I'm going for. I'd like an EVO if the tip wasn't 10" The WS also carries a very reasonable price tag.

I've heard it hangs a little low though... anyone care to comment on that?
