hum... well i didnt do my own exhaust, and i didnt put my coilovers on myself...
I did help put a motor back together. I helped build a race motor. it was a b20 block, w/ a b16 head, type R intake manifold.. yadda yadda yadda... it was hard work, heavy shit.. and a lot of fun. But for the most part i do everything my own. Unless its in the summer heat here in AZ.. then i let the boys in the back at superior racing development do it.. they get paid to sweat and stink.. i dont :: |

I do all my work myself. Sometime I might have someone help me out, but it's no fun unless you do it all yourself. I did my own exhaust which was really easy. I've also helped my b/f out with his integra a bunch. It's fun to get under the car and get dirty.

Did all the work myself
I have a 96 Del Sol and I did most of the work myself, with some help from my bf. This includes:
- installing all the new wiring for the stereo - painting the brake calipers - sound deadening the wheel arches - adding 3 layers of sound deadening material to the doors - installing the head unit - making the door pods - designing the features on the sub box - taking the dash, door trims, console, pillars etc out and then back in during the full leather retrim - designing the full retrim - cutting out and putting in the new carpet That'll do, Samantha www.geocities.com/crxzy9 |

Please dont take this how I think its going to sound...
High maintenance girls cost a lot to have around, dont really like to do anything but shop, get their nails and hair done all the time, and show off what they have. Thats just not my idea of fun. They are great if you want to go around showing everyone, what a gorgous girlfriend you have, but thats about all they are, a display. Im not saying low maintenance girls dont look as good, dont get me wrong. Low maintenance girls can look great and still wont be afraid to get out and break a nail playing ball or working in the yard, on cars, or whatever.. Thats why I prefer the low maintenance type of women, and not just some "trophy" girl. Im not saying this to start a flaming war or anything like that. Just stating an opinion.

ok ok
I guess we had different definitions of high maint.. I was thinking girls that need to go to salon and whatever else every week.. Who try to maintain close to perfect image.. bla bla But you could hava a high maint girl who works on her car, why not? As long as when she is done, she makes herslef look perfect again.. That sounded funny, but you probably get what i'm saying..

Yeah I know what your saying.. Thats not really high maintanance. Low maintenance women like to look good to when they want to. High maintanance wont even mess their hair up while they sleep..

Yeah man for real. I can't stand when girls won't do anythign because they might get a hair loose. My gurlfriend and I go out and play catch and jog together and shit like that. And when i'm working on my car...she sit's there and talks to me and watches. As far as i'm concerned i'm the most lucky guy in the world. But I can't stand girly gurls!!! My gurlfriend has a friend like that and I can't even talk to her

HAAHA I tried to teach my girl how to work on cars and we got in a fight. When I sat there for 3 hours re-wiring her stereo in her POS she was right beside me helping though. I guess, she's just not interested in learning how to work on differenet kind of cars like myself.

Considering I have basically no mods (besides "show" crap...i'm waiting for my evo 7 )
I have to learn as I go. I've changed a head gasket before. Go me. I'd prefer to do my own work. But I don't even have an intake that I can install. So until I get some good mods- I won't be able to work on my car. But I put on my pedals and shift knob and front lights and I had to change a tire that I blew out at 3AM on a deserted road. And the lock for my rims broke off inside one of the lug nuts. And damn AAA for taking 3 hours to get to me. |
