question about headers

what kind of headers would be the besk kind... 4-2-2, 4-2-1, or 4-1? and i've been told that dc is the way to go when getting heades, is that true or is there anything better out ther. how about jdm headers, what are those all about?

4-2-1 headers will even out the power band, whereas 4-1 makes more power in the upper range, and less in the lower RPM band. That's how the diff. was explained to me...

Depends on what kind of setup you're running:

Basic Bolt Ons: Basic 4-2-1 (DC, GReddy, Neuspeed, etc.)
Serious all motor: 4-1 JDM style with longer primaries (Spoon, Mugen, JDM ITR) or 4-2-1 with longer primaries (Hytech, SMSP)
Supercharger: Kamikaze style 4-1 with shorter primaries
