So I'm back in toronto and there's no food in the house. I decided to goto loblaws (food store) and get some supplies, this included heading to the beer store and then to loblaws.

Anywho the check out girl I know, but I never see her working there. Or for that matter I haven't seen her in 6 months or more. We get talking because I'm like that and I'm not going to pretend i dont know the girl when we go way back. Shes doing some modeling and working out at a gym alot lately. She's transfered schools (from my highschool to another one) that works better with her time able.

So after I pay the bill she says "Hurry on back here next weekend" which is odd because I never got the vibe she was interested in me. So ladies does that statement mean anything? Should I be getting her number? Which i didn't ask for on Saturday (Ya i probably should have). My ablility to read situations is a little off lately, so I gotta run this by you folks.

just judging by what you've said, I think you might be reading into it a little too much... I was at the grocery store about a month ago and the cashier was flirting with me and it was more than obvious...even my friend Shawn (sofakingsmooth) noticed it....then when I decided to ask for her number, she turned me down....bahhh, women suck.....

I dunno... you say that you go way back, she was probably just being friendly. I know girls back from high school, etc. that bug me to come visit them and stuff. Doesn't mean they want a piece.

Ya now that sometime has passed i'm pretty sure she was just being nice because I never shop there anymore and she hasn't seen me in ages. We used to talk about everything, then something happened with her and school. She moved schools and we just stopped talking, the question is: Can i ask for her number just to talk? - After some thought I dont want to date her, might ruin the friendship we had from way back when.

its quite possible that she was bein nice. i see it this way..
one: she's bein nice,
two: she hasnt seen you for a while and is somewhat interested in you

get her number maybe.. call her.. and just see where things go

Definitly talk 2 her again... Don't even ask 4 her number right away though... Ask her to get something to eat when she's got some time off... She might just give u her number and tell u to call her to sched. a time(date) to meet and "have some caramels".

Like JTsn2Bfst said, don't ask for her number right away.Go to the store and buy some stuff again and ask her what she has been up to and see if she's up to going out to grab a bite to eat, but don't make it so formal that it seems like you are asking her out on a date.Just be casual about it and I'm sure by the end of the time spent together with her you will know whats up.And you mentioned you might be better off not dating, well you can use this time just getting to know what she has been up to and get back in touch.good luck

But... insert provocative statements in and see how she responds... Oh ya and make sure when you first see her (too late for the killer one but next weekend it'll still be nice) if you hug to greet then... as you walk up become more wide eyed like you just saw a free turbo kit for your car.... then hug firm... then big short/long squeeze...then firm... into release.... step back and say... "WOW... you look amazing" or something of that nature... then keep dropping little here and theres. Something that'll make her mouth drop open but not make her smack you... guage her responses... and keep it up... in no time it'll be clear whether or not the little comment (never EVER EVER read into subtle stuff like that she could mean she needs your sack in her mouth she could mean get away from me creep) meant anything or not....

Just stop worring so much about it all man... you seem like a straight up dude and this is what ALL straight up dudes go through... they have a low sense of self-worth because they second guess and over-analyse everything... your a cool dude and any cool chick would be more than lucky to have you...
