ECU Question?

hey i am currently gutting my 92 hb so i can sound deaden it and build an enclosure and i found this square box under the drivers seat. It is about an 1" thick and it has B18 B written on it and it also says it is for a 94+ acura. I opened it and it had a computer board thing in it so I figured it must be an ecu. Anyways the question I have is.....is it any good. I just bought this car and it already has a ZC swap in it, but would it be good to put this ecu in or is it a waste and should I just toss it. Any info would be great thanxs a lot.

ecu's have a series of digits on them, not what yours says.

see here:

The second set of #'s (p2p,p2e,p72 here) is the ecu ID.

An ls ecu would read p75 or p74

(A pic of what you found would help)

And no, it wouldnt help your motor

hmmm I wonder if that ECU works... you should try and get a buddy with a b18b 94-96 obd1 teg and put that puppy in... if it works you could get a nice chunk of change from someone on Ebay.

I just bought a obd1 B18c1 ECU for 230$...
