Civic Si vs ultimate driving machine
well i'm at work, doing valet parking when a civic si shows up, then a BMW 325i. we were kind of slow so me and one of my other friends(always talking shit about hondas) decide to race them. So we go behind the building where we have about a quarter mile long with no cars in our way and nobody could see us. we lign up and then we start. 1st gear it was kind of tied, then when i hit second i start losing the beemer. At the end he is trying to give me so lame excuses like i couldn't shift, the car did not work the way it should. I'm like shut up, that car is about one year old, and next time you say something about hondas think twice
HONDA RULEZ !

I know how you feel.
I'm a member of another message board (non car related) and this one guy posted that he just got his license and has a Civic. And I started asking questions. Then this one guy replies Quote:
WTF????? Do you know anyone who put 60k into a civic? If so, let me know, I want some of that dough...lol I hate when people talk shit! |

he said he is a pro, but he kind of sucks. anyway it wasn't straight line. it was more like curves and hills. the funny part is that we had a hiunday racing with us

the lower end BMW's like the 325i aren't that great in the horsepower area, and add to that their weight, and a Civic Si should be able be win. The 525 BMW is heavy, and sucks in the turns!
I'd say the only BMW that can handle the twisties like a honda is their Z3 roadsters because at least they are a little lighter. Maybe the Z3 coupe also. |
