edged out a viper..........
traffic was light, he was following me for about 2 minutes then we got a light.....i didn't wanna race cuz i didn't think i could've beaten him.....he takes off instantly and continues to pull to about 40mph then slows down.....now that i saw what his car could do, i thought to myself i have a chance.....i roll up to him, we're at about 25mph so i put it into 1st and hear him do the same, i adjusted to boost to 18psi.....down to 20mph we both gun it, the turbo's already spooled and i gained 1 car length instantly.....into 2nd, he gains half a car, by the end of 2nd im back to 1 car and continue to pull up to 1 1/2 car lengths when we neared 100mph......we stop and he waves for me to get behind him.....we pulled over at a texaco gas station and started talking.....i told him my mods and he let out a sigh of relief.....it was a 95 rt/10, stock.....im surprised this car was so quiet.....i was expecting more engine noise from a v10, and more speed, guess not....*shrug*.....

If you beat a Viper an NSX would be nothing, a cake walk even I pulled on a NSX with yellow stickers and a steel wing(MAD HORSEPOWER) he told me it was auto but I heard/saw him shifting. I didn't beat it bad or nothing but I did beat it. Nice kill....

I would just be happy to say I raced a Viper much less beat it!!! I do rember I raced a real live hemi cuda, you know the Hurst eddition. I lost, but it was real cool to race a car that can stand a wheelie in first gear! We also stopped and talked. Cool guy. He had his cuda decked to the limit. Completly restored right down to that famous orange hemi engine.

lol@toykilla...... you should see how much a NSX will run you here.... a brand new nsx is over $120,000 you could buy a Z06 for less than $90,000 and be way faster....
I dunno gixer thoughs Z06's are crazy fast, I've read on a side this guy ran an 11 second 1/4mile with just ET Street's, completly stock, slips to prove too, thats crazy. But if you do beat on I give you props, well to your Supra anyway I don't feel the S2000 at all. |

whats funny is the s2000 and the top of hte line nsx 30000 dollar price difference and umm..they have the EXACT same 1/4 mile times 0-60mph 0-100mph 100-0braking. nsx beats it in shalom of course but shit. is that worth $30,000??? i lower s2000, sway bars, strut bars and its the same. NSX is a very very very sad sports car!! =/

Yup very, looks aiight but it's not fast enough for that kinda money. If they do make the 400hp V8 version that'd be nice, but again I'd bet it would be way over priced.

sorry guys, but i have driven an nsx and own an s2000, the 97 + nsx will proudly hand me my ass in a straight line and in twisties......s2k's aren't what they're cracked up to be, they have the chassis of a miata which will snap if accelerated too hard......this car wasn't meant to be modified...... |

what difference of $30000 between the nsx and s2k ? The s2k starts at 32k in my area and goes up to like 37k. Never seen a brand new NSX yet to get the price but they are like 80k+

I live in canada yeah, I have no idea the real price but my friend dave "the honda freak" told me a brand new 2002 nsx(and even back in 2000) were over $120,000 and the s2000 is close to $60,000 and my I know the brand new Z06's here are worth close to $90,000 because a C5 is like $75,000. Yeah thats where I read it from, I think anyway. Thats a sweet time for just tires don't you think?
