Yeah they did it to themselves. I mean come on when the biggest thing you change in 10 years is the headlights you gotta expect it. A car like that deserves at LEAST a V8.

I thought they made a big fuss a year or two ago with new concepts, engines, etc. for the NSX? Oh well. They priced themselves right out of the market, too. $90K for a 280hp V6? Ummm...no.

What this means to you: Chalk up another victim of the horsepower wars. But when you don't spend money on redesigns, this is what happens.

he couldn't be farther from the truth.... i guess the good thing about this whole thing is what will follow in the shadow of the NSX?

Eh. I like NSX's, almost had one for a few grand (won't go into that) but if i had 90 grand there are a LOT of other cars I'd get before the NSX....

Oh well.. Can't afford one, and wouldn't buy one. They look nice, but I could think of 100 other cars I would rather buy with my money.

My buddies dad had one... and it drove nice and everything but not anywhere near what the price tag says it should have...

Not shocking or disappointing to me...

Most of us would nvr have the money to buy one....(unless thermal sells his Teg and all the parts he added to it..hell he'll have more than enough)...a whole lack of performance for a whole lotta money...

Oh well, they'll have the HSC coming out in a couple of years, hope that will be a better successor.

when the freakin hell is honda going to make a damn v8 or better yet a v10/12, they know how to do it. is it against their religion or something? can they not figure out how to make efficient larger displacement engines w/ good emissions, is it really that hard??

Well it has to. How else would it sell here? Asian trucks all look the same. It's almost like you took a Ford E-series van, punched it in the face, and threw a box on the back. you know...like all those damn Isuzu trucks I see running around. Damnit those things are ugly. If the Ridgeline didn't look like other Amerikan trucks, no one would buy them. Now...if we can only get some Amerikanized tuk-tuks.

lol... I still wouldnt buy one.... ha ha ha..

I knew that this was coming. Top Gear covered the Civic TypeR and NSX-R and basically criticized the whole NSX "thing". They are right tho. The NSX is too much $$$ to cough out. Granted that it looks good and handles well, but it really is too much $$$. It lacks power on its status. I've hunted one for so long when my Teg was at 300+ whp. There are 2 of them around my neighborhood. It would've been sweet spanking one.......

When Honda could've gone out with a bang, they decided to go out with a whisper in regards to the NSX. Here's the NSX-R GT. So special it gets carbon fiber parts! Hey...you can't get carbon fiber just anywhere. All for the low low price of $470K.
