and people wonder why I'm deafly afraid of semis
I met this guy who owns a green cavalier who's trunk is twisted to hell because a semi ripped off his aluminum wing, it's a mess I think the guy has a carbon fiber trunk lid on the way so it's all cool |

Sorry so many pics guys, had to share my pain.
I was to the left of this moron in a truck on a traffic circle. I was staying left to get back on a highway and he was gonna take a righthand exit. He is blocking my view of oncoming traffic, so when he starts to go, I start to go. I quickly see that his cab is way left and I have no room, so I stop. I knew where the trailer was gonna be in relation to the cab, so I looked back over my right shoulder and all I saw was trailer coming straight at me. The back left tandem wheel set on his trailer came up and over the back of my car. Luckily I guess I steered to the left at the impact and he came off the right side right by the roof. The scrape on the roof is from the metal reflector holder on the bottom side of the trailer. Ended up rolling on the grass in the middle of the circle in complete shock. And yes Highlander, I had painted it about a month and a half ago. That's what I get for painting it I guess. This happened Tuesday of last week. |

Thanks man. At least I hadn't gotten all the new suspension parts for it yet.
Also, I had the OEM spoiler and still hadn't gotten around to putting it back on after the paint job. Good thing, it would've been destroyed. If I can't find another Sol, I will be selling that and many other parts. Speaking of, anyone know any good deals on Sols? I'm looking for whatever shape, my engine is still good. The DOHC VTEC and only 114K on it. |

It don't quite fit under there man. That scrape on the roof I think is from before the wheels went up and over. So maybe it would fit minus the reflectors.
I bought a cheap, high mileage Pathfinder earlier this week. Got it on the road. Still in great shape for 180K. Original clutch if you can believe that. Looking for another Honda to drop the B16 into. Maybe a Rex or an old Civic hatch. Would prefer another Sol though. If anyone can help me with that let me know. I'm willing to travel too. I actually just got my check for everything about half an hour ago. Money is good. |

Yes, very true. Hard to think like that when I come home to a crunched up Sol in the driveway everyday though.
Oh well, at least I got my check already And Nonov, thanks for the link but it doesn't work |

The car had 114K on it. They said it was worth $6505.75 (nice number huh).
The buyback was $500. So I got the $6005.75 plus towing and storage fees (which the insurance guy gave me like, $70 extra for) and $1000 for medical to avoid a lawsuit. I went to the ER later on the night of the accident, but I got insurance so it will only cost me $75. Total of the check was like $7327.99 I think. Minus the $250 I had to pay to get the car out. I drove the damn thing home though. That's right, still drives. |
