good e-commerce/webhosting

does anyone know any good e-commerce webhosting companys that won't break my pocket ? also feanor and chief fell free to reply if u can hook me up with a good deal. i want to open a business that will deal with the aftermarket suspension for honda and acura cars and i need a server that is reliable and won't fall down every other day.

I do my own webhosting, and that's about as reliable as I get ;-)

I have clients currently hosted with voxel.net (only do colocation and dedicated servers, which is probably overkill for you), hostway (some of chief's sites used to be there), and Verio (see verio.com).

There's alot of players out there -- I'd stick with one of the major ones...

thanks all. i think i'll stick with earthlink's. i've been with them for internet for over 3 years and i think they rock. thanks for the sugestions anyway guys

it really depends on what you want the company to do for you. If its what i'm thinking i would check out yahoo stores. might sound bad atfirst but they take care off ALL the back end stuff for a minor fee.
