OBD II scanners?

well i dont know what forum this should belong in so i'll just post it here since it has to deal with computers..

What i'm trying to do is to hook up my laptop to my OBD II and get my engine management info and all that good stuff....does anyone know where i can find the connectors for it?? i've found a couple and there professional grade too much $$$...also if you have one...how do u like it??

Civic Addict was actually working on a OBD-II program for his car. Im not sure how far he has actually gotten on it though.

Im sure he'll chime in shortly.

Yeah I am working on one. Its coming along. Slowly but its getting there. Mine will handle mostly Hondas/Acuras at first. I'm looking to do more than just OBDII with my setup, so its taking me a while to get done.

I've used that one. Its a decent setup. Runs on just about anything, even Windows 3.1. Includes extended support for FORDs & GMs. Not as much for Honda, but it will read them.

Not used this one, but its supposed to be decent.
