not a story yet but...
how even do you think this race will be?
my 97 accord SE vs. my friends 93 civic My engine: 16 valve 2.2 SOHC, auto tranny His engine: 1.6 D16 He has mods. Mine is stock He has an AEM downpipe and filter, and a full exhaust system. DC ceramic coated 4-1 header with about 2.5 in piping to almost the back, then it splits into a Y and goes to dual mufflers. Him and my other friend raced. My friend has a completely stock 91 accord EX but with a manual transmission. We have the same engine, he just has the advantage of having a stick. WHen these two raced, the guy in the accord won but not by too much. So we're thinking (civic guy) that this'll be an even race since its like my other friends car just without the advantage of a stick. what do you think? |

Depends on his launch and how well he shifts. If he spins off the line, you might get a small jump, but if he can shift worth anything then he should win... just go race, its the only real way to find out who would win...

It'll either be even, or the civic guy'll win....i raced an accord exactely like yours, and he had three peopel in the car, and i had two, and i still won...so, take the peope out, and what do ya got? i didnt' win by much, i was pulling slowely.

Should be a drivers race, you may have the advantage due to less room for error. Good luck if you race him.
