fits are out April 20 - Im test driving one that day

K20 Fits are available in japan, and the brackets look to be fairly similar to me. There was one on show in california.

Oh, but I am upset that there isnt going to be an AWD Fit in north america....

FIT IS RELEASED TODAY!!
You can build and price your own HERE

Personally, Im disappointed at the almost complete lack of colors we get here. Yeah, I know we're missing a LOT of other things too (ie. awd, k20a, etc)...but they could have brought us yellow, just for shits and giggles. And why no black interior for red paint?? No one likes beige Honda...NO ONE!

On the neat side, the "Sport" model (which is all the same mechanically - retarded) gets fog lights and the aero kit all in one package for $1320....I could go without the whole kit, myself....
But the optional wheels ARE pretty cool IMO

My selected parts and model come to: $16,800-ish

If I did buy one, Id get the lower class Fit, and then head to the parts counter for fogs, front lip, and spoiler...

Guess what I did today? I went Fit-Hunting at dealerships.
Found 1... And it was an auto...I wont drive an automatic Fit. (No, it didnt have paddle shifters either)
The seats are HARD But overall, quality is great, fitment is fantastic (typical honda, right?) Though the car is inexpensive, I think its well above cars of similar cost, if not higher, from GM and the like.
The seat foldings are NEAT! Rear hatch has a LOT of room...impressively so, in fact.

I should be driving one this week - one dealership said they were getting a black sport model on monday morning for the showroom

I'll be out FIT driving tomorrow as a result of this video from this thread.

The more I looked at this car, the more I liked it. $15,700 fully loaded? Worth looking at. Who knows. I may hate the thing in person. I may drag Racing Rice along with me.

Sent off for quotes from all the Honda dealers in the area. There's only a few around that have the Sport model w/MT.

I've not seen any on the road.

I'll be sure to snap some pics and maybe some vid clips if the salesman leaves me alone....
