1998 Accord Transmission fluid DRAIN??
I had to do the service on my fathers 1998 accord lx 4cyl, it just hit 60k miles and i changed, plugs, cap and rotor, air filter, LOF, and i was going to drain the transmission to change the fluid. (the dealer told me that it only needs 3 quarts if im only going to drain the pan and not the whole transmission) But i cant find the drain plug for the transmission, any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Andreas |

hmmm welcome to the board
and the drain plug for the tranny should be on the passager side in the wheel well, at least that's where it's on mine.

Yes, it should say what service to do in the owner's manual.
Is it safe to assume that your reference to transmission fluid implies you have an automatic? I can check in the Helm's manual this weekend and post back, if you'd like. b |
