Civic EX Sunroofs
In my EX I think I have a problem with my sunroof. Can anyone tell me how far it is supposed to go back? If anyone has pictures of their sunroof fully open that could help me out a lot. Thanx bros & sisses

I looked for pics and I couldn't find anything. If you post a pic of it I can tell you if it's normal. Or maybe if you describe what you think is wrong I can help...

She(She?) has a 94 though. They go above the roof if I'm not mistaken.

yeah he is right it goes above the roof not inside. I guess no one has pics but I don't think it's right.. I mean I've seen other cars.. like back when I had a Probe () that sunroof went all the way back.. I mean you could see it through the back windshield. On the civic the back pops up and goes back about 4/6ths of the way and then the motor makes a whining sound and stops.

That still sounds about right tho.. I have a friend that had a 5th Gen with a sunroof and a Friend with a 95 Teg, and neither one of them open all the way up...

tell it to shut up
new motors are easy to come by, you can get them from a junkyard for like $20, sometimes less. depending on the junkyard of course. |
