Yep. That truck is a POS but I'm still thankful for it cuz it got me to places I needed to go. I spent about $1200 two days ago trying to pass an inspection.

Wow Arnel! You first started (or officially informed us about) the project around a year and a half ago man! From then until now I think everyone's been in love with your car and are extremely anxious to see what type of numbers it posts up. So glad to see the project is almost finished man, keep us informed.

I had a friend that converted an old school OHV motor to a c.o.p setup. He spent hundreds of bucks and weeks upon weeks trying to get it to work (which is finally did). He did it just to clean up the engine bay. Count me out of that one.

I'm still puzzled with the oil leak problem. After driving it more, it doesnt seem like my motor oil is going down. Further troubleshooting led me to think that maybe the tranny is leaking from the midshaft (half shaft) seal. If this is true, it will explain why I have oil all over the place. As the midshaft rotates, it slings oil all over the back side of the motor. I cant check the oil level on the tranny unless I drain it. But what I will do is use GM syncromesh this time since it has a distinguishing smell and color to it, unlike Honda MTF which is almost the same as a motor oil.....

FINALLY! I found the cause of the oil leak!!!!!! It was a pinched/cut o-ring on the PCV box.

Pics below includes the Tial 44mm WG, and the Honda motorcycle C.O.P conversion that I'm about to do. I also just received a phone call that the WG adapter came in. I will go ahead redo my WG set-up this week.

Update:

-Dump tube fabricated/installed/wrapped
-ATP Turbo Tial 38mm-44mm adapter flange installed

Igntion issues tho. I havent mess with the C.O.P yet, but my stock distributor went bad. We opened up the cap and discovered that the rotor screw came of and basically destroyed the cap internally. I'm borrowing another one from my tuner. We'll see what happens. Ordered a few more items. I will reveal later........

Purchased the 38mm to 44mm adapter via my buddy BoostFed. He has an account at ATP Turbo.

Pat, if you only live close by, I'd be all over you trying get your shit expedited. I'm contagious man.... ha ha..... plus...

I finished the C.O.P harness. It actually looks better in "real life". I would've been running running this set-up already but the coils I bought were for a DSM motor instead... it is a little too short to reach the spark plug. It's okay tho, I'll just give it to my tuner since he tunes DSM's as well. I have another set coming.... the right ones this time

It has been very slow on my end. We installed a supposedly turbo "kit" on a 2001 Integra GSR 2 days ago. We also did some dyno tuning on a few friends. It has been nothing but running around all week. I'm exhausted. I have most of the parts for a newly improved set-up. Here is a pic of what I did today. I'll post the rest of the pics tomorrow. Below is the 86-93 Mustang throttle body. 75mm in size. Next to it is the 70mm RPM Services throttle body.

Would you guys recommend a Fluidyne radiator full size or half size (havn't found one) for daily use? And for track use a half size? dual core?

For all motor application, full size. For Turbo set-up, half size dual core since space will be limited.

I really havent done much lately. Too busy helping friends get their car up. I did a few small stuff. Pic 1 is a fabrication I did to delete the stock IACV and I added another vacuum source which be used for the 3 Bar map sensor. Pic 2 is the mouted position of the Precision 750hp IC. Pic 3 is the comparison in thickness of my previous Spearco IC. Pic 4 is the Exedy Twin disc awaiting for duty once I the tranny comes back from the Quaife LSD install.

The intercooler size forced me to yet again refab another piping on the driver side. I'll post pics later. I just need to paint and wrap it. THe fab kicked my ass.....

Damn Arnel...that might just be bigger than my IC, and that's saying a lot.

So is the plan to just make the IC the new front end of the car?

I have an IACV bro.... it's just that it wont be a Honda IACV. I'll be using a Ford IACV. Freebie from the Junkyard. I'll be able to run any of the Ford IACV with the same flange pattern like the ones below. It will be recalibrated via EMS.

Steve, I know what you mean. I never had a bumper support to begin with actually. That IC is thick as well which will require me to cut some areas on my bumper again....
