I dont have the equipment to make a sound clip. It's not high pitch like the TypeS. It sounds like a big shooosh... I like it

Dude, your entire car looks so nice. I've always liked the way the tegs looked over the civics....just where i live they are look like sh*t. I would definetely drive that.

Thanks everyone! The best part was, even my tuner was suprised! He owned the second ever Hondata and has been tuning Hondatas since then. Before we started, he said that I should be around 240-250. I think he said that so i dont get my hopes up. Towards the end, he said that he can push it even more since it was still making power. Review my dyno sheet and the power curve was still going up. He said he can take it up to 320 whp but we both agreed that even with the best tuning and optimum A/F and spark combo, the internals may still give up. I'm extremely satisfied tho.......

Installed the thermal 3" today......... fucking awesome! It probably eliminated about 100 decibels or more. I didnt think it would drop that much noise. My teg now sounds like my civic since I do have a thermal system in the civic too.... but not 3" tho. I'm running full flow with no cat. I used a 3" flex pipe in lace of the cat... lol. Gosh driving the teg is so much fun now. I can hear my radio and CEL phone ringing....ha ha ha...
New pics: Here's the dump tube that I fabricated. I also wrapped it with a thermal insulation... This is how it looks now: I'll post pics of the thermal 3" exhaust later.... |

Too bad you're not local. most people here dont want to ship. B18A/B's here are all over the place. A friend bought 2 B18A long blocks for $150. We are bulding it up for all motor. Go to www.dragva.com classified forums. You'll see some there. Convicing people to ship will be another story. Also try www.homemadeturbo.com/forum classifieds. i see it there a lot as well........ |
