So who's gonna make these polls guys? I'll do it only if I can recuse myself from the procedings (who's it gonna hurt...I ain't gonna win anyhow). Oh yeah...and I've lost count of who's posted here as well.
Next thought: We need a hottest LADIES poll! <----isn't exactly into this sausagefest

I wouldn't do it...I've never had one but I had a lebret and my tongue done. The lebret started ****ing up my gums (the disc on the back was rubbing against them) and I eventually realized that I didn't like Korn nearly enough to keep my tongue ring...this is the same reason I never did my eyebrow...I'm not nearly enough into new metal (although I used to be).
It's like Chris Rock says: If a girl's gotta pierced tongue...she'll probably suck your dick. If a guy's got a pierced tongue...he'll probably suck your dick.

Yeah...a lebret goes between your chin and bottom lips. Nah...you don't have be a metal kid to have piercings...it just seems like all of the over the top metal folks that I love to make fun of have a ton of tacky piercings. I'll stick to my tattoos.

I say get one and get it over with. Once you get one it becomes like an addiction. I figured I'd just get a small one on the upper right part of my chest (a copyright symbol with "1981" under it...the year I was born). Then I wanted one on my arm so I got a cobra like the emblems on Cobra Mustangs. Then I got my whole back done after my dad died. Since he was cremated he didn't get an epitaph so it say "R.I.P BLH (his initials)" and under that it says "and the heavens shall honor those stars that shine not the longest but those that shine the brightest". That one hurt like a bastard but the other two weren't too bad. The back was done in three 6 hour sessions. And don't listen to those whiney little pussies who'll tell you they hurt anywhere you get them. Just in certain places. The back was the worst for me because you have to listen to the needle click on your backbone when they go over the middle. Also, anywhere where there's prodominantly muscle will hurt...like your leg or (if you're ripped) your arms.

They also hurt like hell on the side of your knee, the back of your knee... and your achilles tendon.. ... and your shin...
Edit: And GT40FIED, that one on your back is cool. I want to get one done in memory of my dad, but .. I'm not sure what to get...

I'll get a pic if I can bribe one of my friends for use of a digital camera. I don't have one and my scanner crapped out about 6 months ago...but I'll see what I can do. Just make sure you're ready to get one on your back...might not be the best choice for your first one, but after about 10-20 minutes your endorphines kick in and it doesn't hurt as much. Just be ready to hear that needle clicking on your backbone. *shudder*
TOnitrusEN - It took me a long ass time to decide what I wanted. I think it's a bit easier if you just think of what you'd like the epitaph on the tombstone to say. I don't remember where I got that quote from, but it seemed to fit really well so I got it done. Tattoos are always something that should be personal and as original as possible...not like girls with cherrys or butterflies on their shoulders or ankles and DEFINITELY not some Japanese character like everyone and their f@cking mother has (I don't care what it says...it's just a little played out...like eyebrow piercings). And it's really irrelevant for a memorial tattoo, but be sure it's something you won't mind having in 40 years. Oh...and it's ALWAYS important to find a good shop...especially for something like what you want. I'd hate to have a half-assed tattoo in memory of someone I loved. That'd just suck hard. Edit: That tat looks like it'll be sweet once it's filled in. It looks like whoever did it did a really good fill job.

ya, i'm not a fan of HUGE tats. I like original ones tho as well. I agree that the japanese or whatever characters are WAY over played and everything. Same with the tattoos on the lower back for chicks. I mean it looks HOT on alot of chicks but its overplayed

Why do guys worry soooo much about "looking gay"?? I don't understand that. But you boys do have a point on the fact that there really aren't a lot of girls that belong to this forum (I can think of like 6) and I don't know how fair the voting would be condsidering we all have different taste in men.

I was being considerate- thought the ladies might want them as their backgrounds .
The real reason is that I'm on a friends computer and don't have the time... laundry is done...
