There are several shops here who will do custom intake/turbo/exhaust piping. My buddy is gonna get his welder and this weekend and I will start customizing the turbo kit for my friend.....
The whole set-up so far, including the little shits is about $4K.... daym, no wonder I'm broke There is no track in Va beach but a lot of street racing all over the place like most places. Most people from here go to Petersburg (Dinwidie). It is actually closer to Richmond than Va Beach. It's on I-95 south |

thermal, long time no see... you probably don't remember me but you help me out a LOT back in the day. anyways, i got the car bug again and will be doing major shit to my Sivvee soon, but damn, your going all out. good luck and remember, the only 2 tools you will ever need is a hammer and duct tape. if it moves and isn't supposed to... duct tape; if it doesn't move and should... hammer!

The Teg should be boosted tomorrow evening. I was able to get the ITR Hondata base map. I just need to retap my oil pan and tighten up the timing belt. I'm scheduled to dyno tune next week on Tuesday. It should be fun . I have no downpipe yet but it is also scheduled to get fabricated wednesday or thursday this week....

Black, I dont have a C5 brotha'. JDM ITR is stamped "B18C" only. no number after the "C". 11:1 compression ownzzz. I cant turn up the boost...maybe 10 at the dyno......
Dzur, I'm broke....trust me..... MAXed, the wastegate is set at .5 bar (7.25 psi). I got the car started today. I made 2 runs and dayyyyyyyyymmmm.... this Teg moves! I ran it without the DP. Loud as fukkkkk!!!! On my second run, for some reason my gas pedal got stuck all the way down and the rev got stuck to 9000 RPM. Good thing Hondata still has a limiter and I was in the middle of shifting so the engine was not in gear. Otherwise, I may have blown the engine up . Lastly, the turbine housing flange bolt fucking came off. I dont know why . When it came off, it scared the fuk out of me. I thought I blew up my engine. I found the flange on the side of the road...luckily. I'm gonna need to pull the turbo out and get it reassembled. No biggie. I always expect problems initially on any turbo install that I do anyway. I just wont be able to get my DP made tomorrow. ....then a cop came. he said that there were complaints that I was making noises. I explained to him that my throttle cable got stuck (which it did) that is why the noise was loud. He didnt give me shit. It seemed that he understood. He took a glimpse at my car and saw the hood was popped open. I was polite the whole time. I might hear something from my landlord about this. Hopefully they'll understand...... |

LOL... hell yeah man. I'm getting it dyno tuned with Hondata. My tuner is the one of the best Hondata tuner in U.S. He owned the second ever Hondata system. So he has been tuning for a while.

Hondata with boost option (S200b) cost me $475. Base B18C turbo map is another $60 but credited for my dyno time
well, basically my turbine is exposed. No pipe. I drove it like that. It's loud as hell...... |

....Found the problem why my car would jump to 9000 RPM...... see, this is why I dont need people's help sometimes.
Anyway, spearco intercooler usually comes with plastic end plugs/caps for the in/outlet pipe. Whoever installed my outlet piping forgot to remove the plastic cap and just slap the piping and connectors on. I had this awkwward feeling all day that it was that fucking plastic.... and so it was. The bitch was stuck on my TB. It's too late at night to run the Teg. I will do it tommorow. All I can say is that, it really doesnt matter now. I found the problem and that is all i care about.... |
