some people just dont get it.

......at the same time this civic also ran a consistent 10.20-10.30 quarter mile. I have seen that car beat other Vipers on the track. The owner and tuner of that car is just amazing man. He really knows his shit........peace out

Oh, I get it all right, and my statement still stands. This civic was a 10 second car and like I said, mad props to him, but how many 10 second civics do you see on average...I'd say about 1% is a conservative figure. I'm not bagging on anybody, I'm just saying this is the exception...and credit is definitely due to the guy in the civic. I wish I knew how to do that kind of shiat to a car

but why are you even comparing general civics to vipers?

there's no "oh but...", "if he..."

the civic one, fair and square.

there's no "if he knew how to drive..."

viper = money

fast civic = money

that's it...

so a stock viper would beat a honda 99% of the time even if it raced a gt-tuned nsx type-s...on a gt track.

interesting...

That's not what I said...go back and read my post to refresh your memory. Oh and the reason that I'm comparing civics to vipers is because that is what this whole fukking thread is about. Again, go back and read the post SLOWLY. Maybe you'll get it this time

Yeah maybe %1 of civics are moded to the teeth to run that fast......BUT......the point still stands.....that civic burnt a car with 6 more cylenders.....also about %1 of people around here have a viper....The $ dumped into that civic was prolly equal to or less than the $ spend on a viper.......so it evens out sorta.....

that's what you said...

"I would say that a viper with an experienced driver would take a honda 99% of the time"

re-read that 20 times...

the price of a viper is fair to the money of mods up into a civic to stay up with the viper...

vipers are expensive...yes they are fast to start off with.

civics are cheaper...no they are not fast to start off with.

the money put into a civic that can stay up with a viper is expensive...yes it will be fast.

just so you know, it wouldn't cost all that much to make a civic faster than a viper. It'll take money but not near as much as a viper costs.

ok, I stand corrected. I thought that it was obvious what the topic of this thread was about. I'll have to watch that.
